Speaking

Committing time to meeting, debating, listening and celebrating, whether formally at events or informally in networks, is building a bank of knowledge that is changing practice. More importantly, this directly contributes to improving the lives of older people.

Exploring impact of displacement on older people

Through seven global, interconnected programs, Atlantic Fellows collaborate across borders and disciplines to address the root causes of inequity. While each of the seven Atlantic Fellows programs is distinct and grounded in its local context, they share a common purpose of advancing fairer, healthier, more inclusive societies.

In October 2019, 19 Atlantic Senior Fellows travelled to Jordan to learn about the impacts of displacement on health. Dominic Campbell worked with Atlantic Fellows across the globe to prepare and plan this research programme. A series of presentations explored the impact of displacement on older people and ways to address these challenges.
